Join the GPNP

Any charitable organization, incorporated as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation and serving Greater Pittsburgh, can become a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership (“GPNP”) by contributing a minimum of $100. For every dollar contributed, The Forbes Funds will award one matching dollar, up to $15,000 total.

Upon joining, your organization will be eligible to cast votes in support of candidates to serve as Advisors to the GPNP. Annual elections are held during the fall in advance of The Forbes Funds’ Annual Nonprofit Research Conference and Awards Ceremony. The elected Advisors assume their duties on January 1, and hold their positions until December 31.

The Advisors, with the support of The Forbes Funds’ staff, determine appropriate strategies and identify how best to allocate available funds, provided those purposes are commensurate with the mission and purposes of The Forbes Funds as a public charity. The Advisors, in consultation with The Forbes Funds, convene and lead the membership.
