
Chip Burke was born in Pittsburgh on June 26, 1961. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Kenyon College in 1983 and a Masters of Arts Degree in French Literature from Bowling Green State University in 1990. Chip taught at Linsly School in Wheeling, West Virginia, from 1986 to 1988. Currently he is Chairman of The Grable Foundation, where he has been employed since 1991.
Chip is currently President of the board for Fox Chapel Area School District and Chair of The Forbes Funds Advisory Committee. In addition he serves on the boards of the Carnegie Science Center, Family Communications, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, KidsVoice, Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation, and Frick Art & Historical Center.
Chip resides in Fox Chapel and has four children: Charlie, George, Sam, and Amy.
